yesterday was my first day in the chartered bus.....what a ride i must say..
everything went by smoothly in the morning .....
but in the evening....as the Swaraj Mazda/bus moved and made its way through the busy traffic, a man entered the bus and started threatening the driver...to stop th bus or else it will not be good for the driver's health...
he stood near the gate and wouldn't let other passengers enter the bus...
he said it is his route and he would not let this bus take his passengers...
the kind of arrogance and "dadagiri" this guy showed....that he is not afraid of anyone and if we wished we can call the police....he said..."karo 100 dial " call the police...
he revealed that he daily bribes the DTC bus drivers around Rs.150 so that they don't stop the bus on this route and leave the passengers who eventually take this guy's (Radhe's)bus...he said he would bribe the policewala also give him 1000 rupees or so to keep his mouth shut.
It was pretty shocking revelation and i was wondering....what all people do to survive and run there businesses...
this episode went on for more than 45 minutes i even dialled the police number and informed them but they finally called when this guy had left...
In the whole episode what i really admired was the bus guy who collects the money ..Binu that's his name...his patience with this guy- Radhe( that was his name) and how he tried convincing him that he was not taking radhe's passengers... Not once did Binu raise his voice and handled the situation with calmness and poise....i admire him of it...one should learn from him how to handle the situation peacefully and with brains...hats off to u Binu....good work.
