Ab dhire dhire aadat si ho gayi hain...so it should not be difficult to follow the ritual and convert it into a habit. When you start something new initial few days are the toughest and then slowly things seem easier and become routine.
I fast on Monday's..and so nothing much to write, have uploaded Tanvi & Isha's pictures on facebook and Orkut - i am getting confused about uploading them on both the sites but i want to share with all my friends, few are on FB and the others on orkut :-)

Followed the ritual Day 3 !
Yes i did it again...i am getting up early, but still not going to bed on time as expected which is creating a zzzzz feeling sometimes during the day :-( so i need to rush now and go to bed.
Tana's funny moment:
She hurt her hand and said, "mummy mera haath ki taang mein lag gayi" i started laughing and asked her beta taang matlab kya hota hain and she confidently replied - bone ! i didn't correct her coz i found it cute :-)
Questions she asked:
When she heard me & my hubby talking about a drunk movie character, she asked " Papa drunk matlab kya hota hain ?"
We were looking through photos and i told my hubby, dekh lena bade hokar toupe(cannon) banegi aapki beti ;-) Tana immediately asked, "mama toupe kya hota hain ?"

Followed the ritual Day 2 !!
Yep i did follow the new habit/routine on a weekend too and surprised myself :-) Now as the blog is my watch book i have to update it daily with my routine, whether it is being followed or not ?

Followed the new habit on day 1 :-)
Yes...i did it ! The new habit which i intend to build, got up early and studied. getting up early and taking a shower makes one feel so fresh and new, rejuvenated, i liked the feeling.

Old habits that need changing !!!
I have thought of something which i want to put into practice, have been thinking about it for long..."early to bed and early to rise makes one healthy, wealthy & wise :-) yes this is what I want to put into practice ! I am a night bird and prefer studying late in the night have done that for the last 20+ years, i like the solitude of the night without any disturbance perfect for studying. So making a decision to change it, is a tough one; let's see how it works...and for how long :-)
As for Tanvi's questions today :

Cute things i like about her :
When she was 3 years old she would often say, "mama mein soch raha hoon ki mein kya karo ?"
I found the mein soch raha hoon part very cute :-)
My second little angel - Isha, is 7 months old and has learnt to fake crying and looks really cute when she does it. The nursery rhyme ...chubby cheeks, dimple chin, rosy lips, curly hair..suits her perfectly (touchwood) ! She will also be naughty like her sister i can see the traits. She has learnt to turn over and rolls over the bed which is her playground. She and Tana have a special understanding and they laugh at their silly jokes and pranks. Tanvi shares some secrets also with her, i wonder what they are ?

Stories we make up ,,,,,,to fool children !

It is time to go to bed and i have not completed reading my planned syllabus for today, busy searching something on the web, it is pretty addictive if you have time :-)
M.I.T went shopping today for grocery and it was drizzling but we didn't mind it as we were happy to be out of the confines of our home. I am looking forward for Tanvi's school to start so that she will be busy and occupied and so will i, as things would be done according to the school timings. I was joking with my hubby the other day that Tanvi is the naughtiest 4 year old girl in the world and she keeps me on my toes throughout the day and by the time her summer vacations end either i will have a high BP or a heart attack !!! courtesy my little devil ;-)
I invented the concept of children police who especially comes to take away naughty kids like Tanvi if they don't listen to their parents. The police number was 616 and every time she was troubling me i blackmailed her that i would call 616 and she would calm down. We told her that the smoke alarms were the video put by police to watch over the kids and they would come if she was too naughty. This fear did work for few days and now she is back to normal.
Today she asked me, "Mummy, i hate you ka matlab kya hota hain ? i explained the meaning and told her not to use it for anyone.

Aaj Kya hua...?
Well as for my plans to start studying...have not reached great pace, honestly i am not trying to make excuses but i was doing something very very important, i was applying to all the Resource managers to consider me if and when an role arises, see i told you i was doing very important work...phew !

I plan to start updating my skills in the SAP software, learn some new module, so all please pray for me that i am successful and stick to my plan.
Now what did Tana say today ?
I was telling her Tana, eat properly phir aap ke chubby cheeks ho jayenge...aap moti ho jaogi, she immediately replied "mujhe nanu ke jaise mote nahin hona hain " ! Abhi se itni health freak..ofho!
I told her Tana mujhe kisi se bhi darr nahin lagta, sirf Bhagwan se darr lagta hain, she asked " magar mummy bhagwanji tuo spooky nahin hota ?
Tanvi is very funny at times she makes me laugh ...she very innocently asked me, " mummy kali mata apni jeeb/tongue bahar nikalti hain ?" i said haan beta, kyon ? She very cheekly replied, " Isha (her lil sis) Kali mata hain kyon ki woh apna jeeb hamesha nikalti hain "..;0))))))
She has already warned me today, "mummy jab mein bade ho jaongi aur aap mujhe vacuum karne ke liye, mop karne ke lie & bartan dhone ke liye bologi tuo mein aap se gussa ho jaaongi !!! Ab mein kya karo bataiye...

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi !
A very happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all !
Yesterday Tanvi's Dadi asked her what she wanted from America - she thought for a while and then replied, " mujhe ek bada sa diamond chahiye " - this kid knows what she wants in life !
Few days ago Tana asked me, "mummy aap mujhe lipstick & nail polish kab lagane dogi ? I told her when she is 20 years old...i think she will start applying them when she is 15 years old !!!
Her pet dialogue for everything is " That's not fair !!! Mind you she is only 4.5 years old ;0)

Tana saw a dream today - she saw that we have gone to US at Sweety bua's home, there were mosquitoes at her place which i killed and after killing them i ate them (yuck) and then i made a funny face...yes this was her dream !
Tanvi was in a pensive mood early in the morning, which is very very rare as she starts talking to Isha or me the moment she wakes. I asked her, "kya hua beta, aap itne chup kyon ho ? She said, " mein soch raha tha ki Isha badi kab hoyegi ?"
The other day Tana saw me kneading the flour and she asked me, "mummy atta kya pani se banta hain ?" ............so cute !
She has started writing words - i love papa, mama etc and she asked me the spelling of 'self' i asked why and she said mein i love my self likhungi :-) .........so smart !
My mom keeps joking with Tana about not knowing the nursery rhymes, the other day she told me, " mummy pata hain nani ko nursery rhymes nahin aati woh ba ba balck sheep ke baad twinkle twinkle bolti hain ;0) and she was laughing at her nani's ignorance.

Happy Independence day to all !
Happy Independence day to one and all. I wished it to Tanvi and told her today is India's Independence day , she immediately asked me " mummy UK ka independence kab hota hain ?

She was reading spelling and was reading the ones she already knew and i said to her " Beta jo aap ko aata hain, woh kyon paad rahi ho ? jo nahin aata woh pado"....she immediately replied "mama jo nahin aata woh kaise padoo "? ..interesting and very true..isn't !

Questions children ask...
Children can sometime ask very funny and weird questions, so i have decided to post them here, so when my daughter grows big she can read and laugh :-)
Tanvi my 4+ year old daughter is very talkative and curious by nature, when i told her about my carrying her sibling she was amazed as to how can a baby go inside mummy's tummy ? The queries she had were :
1. Baby aandar kaise gaya ?
2. Baby bhahar kaise aayega..?
3. Mera pet mein bhi baby hian ?
4. Meri shaadi lab hogi & baby kab hoyega ?
Can u imagine the replies i had to make up to give her ...
