Trip to lake district.........

part of the mail written on 28.05.2007

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

something to lighten your mood and refresh u all.....hope u enjoy reading it as much as i enjoyed writing it...
We r fine....and had a nice trip to the countryside of England -Lake district, the places were just to picture perfect (actually after sometime i got bored with the perfectness), saw the Beatrix potter house, and house of William Wordsworth (from outside), Big Aquarium and a steam engine ride, English Castle which was around 800 yrs old,the otter's animal farm was the best part as Tanvi freaked out watching all the animals live as she had only seen them on TV or books. She kept shouting..."monkey rok jao mein aa rahi hoon.." zebra rok jao mein aa rahi hoon". And when she saw a flamingo she said..."usne raat ke icecream khaya tha is liye uska gala teda hogaye". It had some weird and rare animals i had never seen or heard.
The lovely flowers all over the countryside were amazing, saw black colour Tulips, blue colours flowers.Tana would just love plucking flowers everywhere....no not to admire them but to make their chutney....yes that's what she exactly did with them..poor flowers....bhagwan unki atma ko shanti de! Amen! The Indian restaurant there was run by Pakistanis and was called"Emperor of India". The food was decent but i think i cook better than them... A little difficult for vegetarians like me to find food to eat.....everything has cheese and that too in loads which i don't relish.( i am trying to watch my weight....moti ho gayi tou) i very stylishly ordered espresso coffee thinking that it would be like our Indian espresso...sorry it was not like that it was just black coffee with no milk and sugar and can u imagine my plight....the taste was yuck...or woh be priced at 2 pounds...i felt like commiting suicide.........rather than drinking it...but my hubby came to my rescue like a knight in shining armour and drank it....sacrifice of India...."husband India" (mother India style...) I learnt a lesson never to order..NEVER an espresso in UK order latte which has milk and tastes like our coffee.Had a enjoyable and fun filled trip on the whole. The summer has began here but the temperature is still around 10'C so we have to wear jackets we travelling out.The people here r very courteous and always smile...shall send Scotland-Edinburgh & Inverness details soon...(Oh...yeah i m travelling places...)
Thanks for bearing with me and reading till the end.........
