In the last month !

Its been a month since i have posted on the blog...so here are the synopsis:

Trip to Manchester:

Visited Manchester city's Trafford center and Legoland, kids had fun and we were tired ! It was a nice outing and break for all of us. Hubby dear brought a hep top for me which i thought was pretty expensive but then the brand had value !

Was busy with the testing phase from 21st June to 29th June and before it preparing for the testing :) After coming back completing the pending tasks, documents updates and activities. Finally today i come to know the second phase of testing will be postponed to September....:( which is good and bad, good coz i get time to prepare for it, bad coz the project gets delayed ....hmm.

Had Thai food for the first time and became a fan, the presentation was lovely, the food was delicious and i enjoyed it.

7th Wedding anniversary - 22nd June:
Celebrated my 7th wedding anniversary in Brussels without Mayank :( as was on the official trip, Had Indian dinner and tried Belgian waffles. Received a lovely bouquet as surprise from hubby which made my day !

Mechelen - Brussels - 28th June:
Visited a beautiful place near Brussels city - Mechelen town which had beautiful architecture and ancient buildings dating back to 1000 AD. The architecture had clock shaped buildings, terreace shaped and French architecture, got to learn a lot about different forms.

Birmingham :
Visited Bull ring shopping center at Birmingham and kids & family came to spend the weekend with me which was nice as they got to see the place and we visited Conker valley, which was good outing for the kids. Had dinner at a Thai restaurant which we reached after going to 7th floor of a building and then crossing over to a bridge. The location and ambiance was perfect though the food was not great but the journey to reach the place made it exciting.

Tana:
The pranks Tana has been doing in the last month...gosh so many of them i have already forgotten. She has learned to steal things from her friends..yes and we have scared her with the police.

She had fever and stomach ache and was taken to doctor who gave a scare by telling she suspected appendicitis and referred to the surgeon. The surgeon checked and ruled out which was relief for all of us.

Isha :
Isha is possessive about her pram and will not let anyone sit in it and always insists on pushing it herself. Isha a begun to understand everything and does the work which is told to her. She speaks full sentences in her gibberish and also throws tantrums when things are not done according to her way. The other day she was about to lift a insect and put it in her mouth !!!...Thankfully Mayank saw it and caught her.

Someone is listening !

It has been a busy day and going to be like this for the next 2 days as the project is moving to the testing phase and then coming after one week of travel to Brussels for the testing. Anyway I am happy as i have made a lot of progress on the tasks i had to do ....but still a lot more to do.
Tana & Isha are fine and i speak to them daily on the phone, Isha has a lot to talk with her gibberish which i pretend to understand. Tana talks but more of a formality sometimes get excited about the things she has seen and done. Today she was excited about the cat who sat on our window :) Kids and their cuteness.
Being a workaholic i enjoy being busy and immerse myself in the tasks so it does not make me feel lonely staying away from my family. But sometimes i do feel like taking a break and just relax by reading some book or watching something on TV. So here i am back to my blogging to relax and to update and unburden myself...it is like talking to someone :) though i do not get any responses but it gives me a feeling that someone is listening !

Paucity of time ...

I was in Brussels last week for the Super User Training which went very well. The business was very happy and appreciated our efforts. Got to see little bit of Brussels - The world famous atomium and the Mannke Piss statue (the little boy who pisses). The city center was a lively place and did manage to find a Indian restaurant. Being a vegetarian food becomes a big issue for me in European countries and i end up eating pasta daily :(

It was nice to spend time with the kids and see them, they loved the gifts i got for them and Isha wanted to eat all the chocolates :) Tana was happy with her purse and pencil case. She still asks me so many questions which are funny and do not have answers, but i forget to note them down to put them in the blog. I have not been able to write the blog since last week and miss it some times.

I walked back from office today instead of taking a cab, and the walk took me about 35 minutes which i think was a good timings considering the distance.

My mind is preoccupied with so many things which i cannot share with everyone, but hope and pray that all gets well with time and people get sense.
