Miraculous timing ....

I am writing my blog after almost a week...now you can imagine how hectic the past week was for me :( I have the project testing phase coming up and before we do the testing their are lot of procedures to be followed and the system must be done ready for the actual testing. Reviewing the test scripts, making the training material etc. Now i have completed most of it and still have some work pending which needs to be completed before Friday. Amidst all this last week i went to get my Belgium visa done and was expecting my passport today as i have to travel to Brussels tomorrow for a day. I had been waiting for the passport since morning and getting worried...phew. The passport did not arrive till 3:30 and the tickets were not confirmed till 3:45. Around 3:50 i called the courier service to enquire on the passport arrival status and as i was speaking to them on the phone, the reception staff brought my passport and handed it over to me :) and immediately i received a mail confirmation of the tickets for tomorrow and the administrator gave me the printed E- ticket all within a span of 5 minutes and it all seemed like a miracle !! Finally all set to travel tomorrow.

When speaking with Tana yesterday she said that she was playing baby- baby with Isha. I asked her who was the baby and she replied, "mein baby bani hoon, aur Isha mujhe pram mein push kar rahi hain" !!! i was left laughing and imagining the scene.

Last week we had discussions at home regarding the future prospects of managing the kids with Momji's visa expiry coming near and she may not be able to come for the next few months. Tana will be going to class 1 soon so her studies will get important and she will need constant monitoring and i don't want to stay away from the family as it is affecting my relationship with the kids and i don't like it :o( Life leaves you with so many questions that you some time feel like walking away from all of it and just be left alone till all the problems are solved ! i felt like that this weekend...funny isn't my problems still exist and i am looking for answers ...

Time is flying...

Hello dear blog...been missing you regularly but what to do, have work overload and no time for to visit you or write a post :( Can u believe it is has been more than a week and the week went by so soon i am coming today to write something.

Yesterday had gone to Belgium for a official day trip, went in the early morning for business workshop and was back by night, sounds hep like a globe trotting executive........naaaaaaaaa it is very hectic as one has to get up very early (3:30) get ready to catch the morning flight (6:30)and then the wholeday goes away in the workshop and you are left with all your planned tasks, inbox filled with mails, missing the regular lunch (rice & dal) etc so it sounds hep but is the opposite and i was informed that i may have to go for another day next week too!!! .

Have to go London tomorrow to submit my visa so another hectic day planned and half day would go in the visa submission process, so i am wondering how to complete my tasks. May be tomorrow in the taxi.

Have not spoken to Isha from last 2 days as she had slept by the time i called. Tana is busy in her own world and does not have time to talk...it is very hurting but i guess kids these day live in their own world.

Work overload !!!

Work at office is driving me crazy..so much to do and i have been so busy that i come back home and after dinner open my laptop and back to completing the tasks :( The whole day goes in coordinating the activities and replying to mails, i have to prepare for the testing phase starting from 1st June, prepare training material for it review the test scripts, test the roles etc. I have to do it by this weekend...somehow slowly starting with the training material.

A colleague invited at his place for celebrations of his 1oth wedding anniversary - its called the "tin" anniversary, funny how do they decide on the metal as the years keep increasing. It was relaxed time and fun. I for a change i have not touched my office laptop.

No time to speak with Isha & Tana also...whatever little time i get in that Isha keeps giggling and she takes the phone and keeps walking with it around the house listening to my voice...cute
