Life changes...

I am able to write today as i have the time after long and hectic three weeks.

Office was hectic and I was put in new project which will be going live in October so busy with the testing it and trying to learn the new things.

The new home is set and it looks lovely ...touch wood, i have added small teddy bears in every nook and corner and they make the house look cute. Tana's room has a fairy princess print duvet, a fairy princess clock & a dustbin too ! My room is simple with chest of drawers which has a antique look, the living room has the couch, the dining table, TV and the chess set - I have got it to teach Tanvi chess. After setting the house sorted Tana's school admission and then went to get Tana.


3rd September - 7th September:
Weekend trip to India to get back Tana as her school started from 3rd September. After reaching Kolkata, it was such a pleasure to see Isha & Tana, i was glad that Isha did not forget me. She was excited to see me and immediately came to me. She loved the kid pram i took for her and she put her doggy (soft toy - bag) on the little pram and off he went for a ride. She has learned to tell "Susu" when she wants to pee and rushes to the toilet ! She looks more cuter and prettier..touch wood.

As for Tana dear...she has become stubborn and has learnt to cry to get things done. Her maths has improved and she has learned tables till 12...phew !

I am Mausi :
Went to Hyderabad for a day for the cradle ceremony of my nephew. My baby sister has been blessed with a baby boy and it was his cradle ceremony, the name is not yet decided. He is cute and looks like her.

Sad demise :
My uncle/Tauji passed away suddenly after a heart attack. He was healthy and has survived through worst car accidents. But high fever followed by heart attack took him away. Feel sorry for my taiji as she will feel lonely without him . Bade papa as i called him pampered me a lot and I have always been close to him. His birthday is on the 15th of this month when he would have been 67 years. May his soul rest in peace.

When leaving for UK, Isha started crying and she did not want to leave me, she was crying for her didi also ....she is missed Tana terribly for 2 days and now seems fine and settled. She is become more naughty and tries to silence Ajji by signalling to put a finger on her lips!

Tana's schedule:
Life is become fast and hectic as i have to get Tana ready walk to her school to drop her and then reach office, after office rush home to pick her from my colleague's place, cook, spend time on her school reading etc...time just runs fast. I have tried to get her back to her routine, slowly the routine will be set and i shall put in time to spend time on her homework, maths etc.

Now hubby dear travels and reaches on Friday and spends the weekend with us and then goes backs to his work place....change of positions and scenarios ! Tana was happy to see her Papa after almost 2 months and pampered him with her love & kisses.

Funny observation :
Their was a fly in the house which was sitting on the washed plates, Tana saw it and told me," look mama woh fly apne dirtly legs se plates ko gandha kar rahi hain" I started laughing at her statement and observation.

What has happened ...in last month

Hi Dear

Its been more than a month since i wrote the blog...hmmm, well the reason is i have been busy with work, travelling, moving into a new home and then sometime lazy.
So where do i start ..after coming back from Brussels i got busy updating the documents and searching for home as i planned to shift the kids with me. Finally found a house and agreed on taking it around the 2nd week of July.

16th July - 2nd August: India Trip
Trip to India staring with 2 days in Delhi. Was in Delhi almost after 3 years, it has changed a lot with fly overs and big spacious roads...burgers being sold on the pani puri stall ! yes really it was cool. Had Mo mos after ages, visited my cousins and spend time with them. Met my nephew who had a horrible accident last December..he has gone through a lot and its only a miracle he was saved..thank God for it.

Reached Kolkata on the 19th evening and stayed there for a week. Isha fell ill due to the difference in the milk as she was not able to digest the milk in India. Did not travel much but was at home and enjoyed the relaxed time at home. It was nice to see Ajji & Baba after 16 months and spend time with them. They were happy to see all of us.

Me, Isha & Tana reached Hyderabad on the 25th and was there till 31st. Rearranged the household stuff which has reach there from Delhi. Did not travel much and relaxed at home. Did not call any of my friends and missed catching up with them. Had a hair cut a Habibs and got my hair cut really short :) for a change. Met my youngest sister and her in laws, seem like nice people. Kids went to Kolkata with Nani and I left for Mumbai..it was sad to see Isha leave...poor baby. But she was fine after a little while and did not trouble mummy much on the flight.

Reached Mumbai on 31st July afternoon, felt as if i have reached "home" ...Mumbai gives me that feeling. It was pouring but i enjoyed it, was visiting Mumbai after 6 years. !!! Visited our flats and met my old friends..it was nice catching up with them. Met my sister in law & her family. It was nice catching up with them. Did shopping finally ...after being in India for 2 weeks, took time out to visit the parlour.

Left Mumbai on 2nd August. Back in office on the 3rd and you will not believe it I moved into my new house/ rented apartment on the 4th !!!

New Home :
Been busy trying to make a house into a "home" by adding my flavour and touches through the little things I put in the home. Got to buy some furniture still and i keep searching the web for it. So now you know why I have not been writing my blog regularly. Another distraction is i have TV at home which i watch after coming back from office and it is quite relaxing.

Kids:
Now the kids are in India and i will be travelling to India to get Tana as her school starts on the 3rd sept. we plan to leave Isha in India for a little while as bringing her here would mean no one to take care of her when i am office..leaving us with no choice but to put her in day care, which might not such a good idea as she does not understand English and is not yet potty trained. So we have to adjust without her for few months :( which is sad but in the long run good for her as she will be looked after well by Dadi.

In the last month !

Its been a month since i have posted on the blog...so here are the synopsis:

Trip to Manchester:
Visited Manchester city's Trafford center and Legoland, kids had fun and we were tired ! It was a nice outing and break for all of us. Hubby dear brought a hep top for me which i thought was pretty expensive but then the brand had value !

Was busy with the testing phase from 21st June to 29th June and before it preparing for the testing :) After coming back completing the pending tasks, documents updates and activities. Finally today i come to know the second phase of testing will be postponed to September....:( which is good and bad, good coz i get time to prepare for it, bad coz the project gets delayed ....hmm.

Had Thai food for the first time and became a fan, the presentation was lovely, the food was delicious and i enjoyed it.

7th Wedding anniversary - 22nd June:
Celebrated my 7th wedding anniversary in Brussels without Mayank :( as was on the official trip, Had Indian dinner and tried Belgian waffles. Received a lovely bouquet as surprise from hubby which made my day !

Mechelen - Brussels - 28th June:
Visited a beautiful place near Brussels city - Mechelen town which had beautiful architecture and ancient buildings dating back to 1000 AD. The architecture had clock shaped buildings, terreace shaped and French architecture, got to learn a lot about different forms.

Birmingham :
Visited Bull ring shopping center at Birmingham and kids & family came to spend the weekend with me which was nice as they got to see the place and we visited Conker valley, which was good outing for the kids. Had dinner at a Thai restaurant which we reached after going to 7th floor of a building and then crossing over to a bridge. The location and ambiance was perfect though the food was not great but the journey to reach the place made it exciting.

Tana:
The pranks Tana has been doing in the last month...gosh so many of them i have already forgotten. She has learned to steal things from her friends..yes and we have scared her with the police.

She had fever and stomach ache and was taken to doctor who gave a scare by telling she suspected appendicitis and referred to the surgeon. The surgeon checked and ruled out which was relief for all of us.

Isha :
Isha is possessive about her pram and will not let anyone sit in it and always insists on pushing it herself. Isha a begun to understand everything and does the work which is told to her. She speaks full sentences in her gibberish and also throws tantrums when things are not done according to her way. The other day she was about to lift a insect and put it in her mouth !!!...Thankfully Mayank saw it and caught her.
