What is so funny ?

Children learn things faster and imitate others they see around them, Tana has begun to speak in English at home, i always tell her "Hindi mein bolo" so that she does not forget her mother tongue. Today morning she got up and said to me, " mama can i have a fresh glass of water please" i smiled and looked at her, she said, " what is so funny ? "

Questions she asked:
"Paani itni white and splashy kyon hota hain ?
" Teeth kyon tut(break) jate hain ?

Funny Anecdote:
We moved from Delhi to Hyderabad when i was about 6-7 years old, then my English was very poor. One day someone in school asked me, "what is your mother tongue?" i was surprised at the question and very confidently said, it is "pink" and then that person asked me in simple words what do u speak at home and i replied Hindi. I think about it and laugh out loud. But then why is it called " mother tongue " - Mother in this context probably originated from the definition of mother as source, or origin; as in mother-country or -land. (courtesy google)

Lesson for today:
Everyday life teaches you a new lesson and one needs to keep their eye and ears open to catch it and learn from it.
