Busy bee !

Weekend :
The weekend flew by so fast that i hardly had time to relax. Had to start collecting documents for the Visa for me & Kids so have been busy with it. In my hurry to catch the train and a last minute argument with hubby dear i forgot my purse at home !!! Yes and came to know it when i had reached the train station after hubby called and informed me. Lucky me i was having all the coins in a small purse which was helpful to pay the taxi fare.
Monday:
Where did the time go as the whole day was so busy that their was no time for break...offfho. And by the end of the day was left with pending tasks for the next day.
Today:
Finally managed to complete a lot of tasks and now need to start another major tasks of completing the documentation which i have been postponing to do later :( It is lot of documentation and i hope i finish it on time.
Spoke to my darling angels and they were excited to speak to me. Isha was happy as i sang her favourite advertisement jingle "Singh is king, heera ki yeh nishani, sab mein hain jaanimani, hum sab milke khende ne...Singh is king" this is a advt for atta//flour ...yes flour with the brand name Heera, it is a ridiculous advt but then Isha loves it and dances every time it is on telly.

TAGGED - Talented & Gifted

Office work has become so hectic that i am getting home work too :) meaning getting work to complete from home and so missed writing my blog yesterday.
Got the excellent news of Tana's progress in school through hubby dear who attended the Parent's & Teacher meet. Tana is doing excellently and among the toppers of the class, she is a all rounder and good at reading, writing, story telling, drawing etc. She is a friendly girl and gets along well with everyone in her class. Her teacher is very impressed by her performance and will nominate her to the "talented & gifted child" category.....wow...& knock wood ! I am very happy and proud of her, i guess it runs in her genes...she has got a mommy like me :)
Isha has become more naughty as she manages to throw either her shoes/socks or the cap on the way to school to pick up Tana. Treats her pram's rain cover as a curtain and pulls it aside to peep through it and look at the outside world. Isha darling has learnt a new thing...to spit !! Yes she spits at Mummyji and thinks its a game.

Hubby dear is member of a chess club and had the first league match against another club which he won after a game which lasted 2 hours....well done !

Charity begins at home !

Monday Morning with the mad rush and the day just zips through with speed. Had about three meetings of an hour each and then the updates related to it. I hardly managed to do my other pending work and have loads of work left :( Shall have to catch up tomorrow and get on track.
Was so busy that i hardly got time to speak to kids or Mummyji.

Donating to charity - so many of us think about doing something for the poor, setting up a fund, to help the poor and needy etc and in turn contribute to the society. But how many us actually implement it ? We just keep thinking that we will do it later but never get to implement it. I think if you want to do it then do it now and also set aside a certain amount every month and so that by the
end of certain years we will have a capital waiting to be invested in charity venture. Men all think in different way than women and sometimes don't implement the things they think unless pestered to do it. But i admire men like Warren Buffet & Bill Gates who are philanthropic and inspire people to follow them.

New Bag....of lady Karamchand

Friday:
Had a very hectic day at office and was running from one conference to another, got to attend a presentation which was very helpful and informative. But the weekend wait was worth it as Isha & Tana were excited to see me and i to see them :)

Saturday:
Went to Junction 32 a shopping mall and shopped till we dropped ....literally we were so tired by the end of the day that just wanted to doze off. Hubby dear bought a lovely jacket for me and Mummyji as a Mother's day gift and we are loving it :) Bought formal shirt for myself. But the best buy was my travel bag...i am loving it so much that my hubby joked i should take it to bed with me and put it next to me as i slept. It's a lovely chocolate colour bag with light Pink flowers and i shall be using it every week to carry my stuff on weekends.

Sunday:
Hectic day as i was busy doing the cleaning, scrubbing and vacuuming ...oohhf. Then hair wash for Tana & Isha and by the end of it running to finish work on time and not miss my train. Tana's latest prank is she got her chair, put cushions over it, opened my cupboard and took the nail polish and put on herself !!! Yes and she thought she would not be caught, but then i am also lady Karamchand and caught her red handed (actually..colour of the nail polish) and she started crying and i warned her not to do it again.
Isha cannot tolerate when we scold Tana and she starts crying if we scold or pretend to scold Tana in front of her....so cute, isn't ?

Attitude

Another hectic day at office, in which i also had to write a competency exam conducted by the company. It was a farce and the very first exam of my life where i did not clear or pass :( But then i was not worried much as I have the best & better certification from the ERP firm on whose product i work and which has much higher value in the market ! It was a formality which has to be done and was completed...that's it, so does this make me a person with attitude ?

Some interesting colleagues in office who have become the butt of jokes and irritate me sometimes but then what is life without such colourful characters :) Don't worry and be happy !

Looking forward to the weekend !

Isha's pranks & silence

Heard about Isha pranks today, she removes her shoes and throws off when Dadi takes her in the pram to pick Tana from school. She also managed to throw her socks also on the return journey from school. The shoes was found by Tana's friend's mom and the socks by Isha's Paa when he returned home. She keeps trying to slide down from the Pram and is only restricted by the harness...thankfully. She keeps saying .."godhi godhi" all the time as she does not want to stay in her walker any more. When i speak to her on the phone she sometimes throws away the phone as she was not interested in talking !! Today she was hitting Dadi as she was not listening to what she said ! My God what an attitude at this age.
Silence - sometimes when you don't want to prolong the argument, share a secret, hurt some one's feeling, start a fight and so on in many other cases choose to remain silent. Is that good or bad is questionable as it has its pros & cons, but i just did that today to my colleague. I did not like the way she spoke to me, was very rude and hurtful as well. But i choose to remain silent and not reply as i did not want to get into an argument, i thought let me forgive and let go for her foolishness as she know not what she talks and tries to show off.

Tana's pranks

Tana and her pranks are driving us mad.....On the weekend she took out the juice from my bag which was meant to be used when travelling and finished it off thinking i would not know it. She opened the 2nd bottle and drank some and left it on the bed - when i asked her why did she do it she replied that she had left some for me !

Today she used Mummyji's aging cream on her face and hands without our knowing it, was caught by her Papa and she got lecture from him. All these incidents are scary as she grows more naughtier she gets ...mmm

Had a hectic day at office and got a busy day tomorrow

Seven Years itch :)

Why did God create man first before creating a woman ? because its always good to make rough draft first before makingthe a "MASTERPIECE.." Happy Women's day !
Every day can be a women's day for every women but by recognising one special day to salute to her achievements is not a bad thing. I am for its celebration minus the commercial aspects involved :) But who minds a occasional gift & flowers!
I have known my husband exactly for 7 years, as today was the day we went for lunch for first time after my Father gave the approval to take me out for lunch. My hubby had come from Mumbai to meet me and my family for the marital alliance. He had come home for dinner and spend time with my family and me the previous day. As things seemed to be working out for both of us he requested my Father if he could meet me for lunch the next day and surprisingly my Paa agreed, and we both went for lunch at Green Park and chatted a lot. Mostly me doing the chatting and he contributing where required. One of the first things he confessed was that he took the occasional drink and had lied in the mails we exchanged. I thought that was sweet of him to confess it. He told about his family and his job etc and then mentioned about the treatment he was undergoing for some minor skin allergy. He wanted to make things clear and not hide anything...which was a honest approach before we made our final decisions. I am thankful to God for blessing me with such a wonderful person as my husband and his family as my (extended) family. Though i don't tell him enough but its fine to mention it today here on the blog and store it for eternity because he is a lucky guy to have got married to me and i am his MASTERPIECE :) He may or may not agree but many others who know me will definitely agree and side with me. I was just remembering the day and thinking gosh it has been 7 years today. How time flies and in this 7 years i have had 2 beautiful daughters and have travelled to another country and working in IT industry.
Amazing how things work out when unplanned and when you keep planning them they don't seem to work and take longer time. But when things are meant to happen they happen at such quick pace that you wonder when and how did it happen ? Marriages, Job opportunities, planning a family, building a house etc all important and life changing events sometimes happen when they are meant to happen with time. One needs to be patient, wait and watch. As the saying goes "whatever happens, happens for a reason"

Sunny day

Friday:
Isha does not understand how do i suddenly appear and then vanish so she did not have much of a reaction and watched me for sometime and then got busy showing something. Tana dear is always hoping mummy will get something for her and gets disappointed if I don't give her anything. Both of them are getting naughty by the day.

Saturday:
As my help had come to do the household chores i was able to spend time with the kids and loved it as we played and had fun for a little while. It is nice to see Isha and Tana play with each other, they have their own code and signals and understand their language without communication as Isha does not speak much and Tana keep giggling.

Sunday:
Went to city center as it was a bright sunny day and all of us had outing. Visited the National Film & Media museum which was OK. It was hectic too as got tired by the end of the day. Had lunch at McDonald's and Isha enjoyed the french fries. Too tired to write any more so here i go...

Sons & Daughters

This week is son's week and women/men who are blessed by sons are celebrating. So when does the daughter's week come so that i can do the celebrations. I would have been happy if i was blessed with a son..no doubt about it but then having a son or daughter is not in my hands as it it based on the XY chromosomes which come from the hubby dear :) Sometimes i wonder Tana will miss having a brother, miss the festival Rakhi, her kids will miss having a "mama" , i will never be a "Dadi " never have a daughter in law and so on but if everybody were to think like me just imagine what will happen to the population of the world !!! Also wonder why does God bless some people with two sons and some with two daughters why not a pair of a son & daughter to each family so the parents get to know the love of son & daughter. But then from my experience i have seen daughters are more attached to their parents and care for them more than the sons. The sons are the only namesake who are more interested in getting things done in their way....I know not all sons are in this category but 80% of them come under it. Whereas daughters are always loving, giving, caring selflessly and always available. The argument can go on with the pros and cons of both and some may say i support the daughters more than the sons as i have daughters and I am a daughter ...but just look around you and see the examples you get to prove my point. When the daughter leaves the home she only leaves in body & spirit but her soul is attached with her parent's home. She goes to a new home and builds her nest with her husband's family and makes them as part of her world, but her love for her parents continues to grow. But with the son it does not feel the same as they don't accept the wife's family as much as their own family always have a formal approach with them and take ages to mingle with their spouse relations. The argument continues...

I don't know where did the day go and i was busy throughout and was not able to complete the tasks i had planned and so had to complete them after coming home :( but i am happy i was able to accomplish a lot by coming home and doing it.

Uncertainity

Uncertainties in life keep unstable and one has to move and shift around very often. Currently my project is till September after that where i will go I am not sure as i don't know my next project. How long will we be in this country we are not sure as depends on our projects. After mummyji goes back how will we manage the kids - put them in day care or send Tana to India we are not sure have not decided yet. In the July vacation where will we go and what will we do during Tana's break...we are not sure, depends on the results after i apply for the visa to wherever we wish to travel. Life is full of uncertainties, nothing is sure and all has been left to the status of " cross the river when we reach the bridge". All I hope and pray is everything falls in place in time and without any inconvenience to anyone and all are happy in the end !

Curiosity

Curiosity kills the cat...now i don't understand why are we humans so curious about evey affair someone else is having, if they happen to be someone in your friend circle or colleague or a distant cousin ...just about anyone we get interested to know, starting thinking of stories that could have happened etc...Now why i am writing this is i saw someone picture with someone and now want to know what is cooking !!! Yes i am human and get curious too. ....leaving all in suspense...as i am in suspense myself

Hubby dear won the Chess game against a strong player and i am happy for him and proud of him. He has joined a chess club where all good players participate and polish their skills.

Happy Holi...

A very happy holi to one and all. Didn't realise today was Holi, otherwise i would have played in advance with kids & hubby. Felt bad for missing it, miss India on such festive occasions as i may not celebrate it but the festive mood and the food cheers one up.

What a hectic day in office as i had to finish to important documentations which kept me busy throughout the day !

Got to see Isha on the web cam as she climbed the stairs and hurried into the bathroom....she was so fast i was scared that she would fall but she seems to enjoy climbing the steps and was rushing to climb them. Today was the first time she managed on her own without any help...touchwood
