Regionalism

I support Shah Rukh Khan in his response to Shiv Sena - Mumbai is for all Indians and they cannot say it is restricted to Marathi manus...I think the whole bollywood industry should get together and support him as he did not say anything wrong and was working towards "Aman ki asha" when he made a statement related to Pakistani players. All the people of Mumbai should stand with him and support him. Regional differences should not be brought at a state level and create bitterness among people. People should be allowed to pursue their careers in the state of their choice anywhere in India. Otherwise it will create regional indifference among people as they exist abroad which we refer as racism. This is a very sensitive topic and a lot can be debated about it, but the view which brings a greater cause and unity should be supported by all.

Perceptions of person

Sometimes i wonder how do people view others based on the circumstances and with time : This happens especially when you are falling in love or newly married when anything your loved one says seems sweet, funny, romantic and lovely, all bad habits also seem fine and you are willing to defend the person for everything he/she does with others. But this golden phase last for a 5-6 months or maximum one year and by then you have known that person for long and are more open/casual with them. You start seeing faults only after you have had an argument, fight or disagreement or when you are upset with them. You remember every bad word exchanged, things which hurt you, which you did not like about them. Things they missed or did not do, all the faults of that person start showing and work like ammunition to fuel your anger. Then you see all the imperfections and come back into the real world but by then its too late as you cannot change things and accept them. But when all is well between you and the person all you see is the good things, good points, habits etc and forgive them for their faults. Isn't the human mind amazing...a small argument changes your perception and forgiveness puts a balm to the wound.

Lucky escape...

Today was a hectic day and was busy trying to complete a important document for a technical development.

Isha has started accepting Dadi as she sees nobody is at home to listen to her other than Dadi, its amazing how kids adjusts themselves so quickly and accept everyone.

Yesterday I was lucky as the taxi i came in escaped an accident because of the quick thinking and fact action by the Taxi driver, god bless him and thank god for averting the accident. I did not realise the impact of it till today morning !
